the public Wednesday
to Saturday between
Noon and 4 p.m. or
by appointment for

Welcome to the New Beginnings Cat Shelter.

At the New Beginnings Cat Shelter located in Bourbonnais Illinois, Owner/Operator Pam Carpenter and her dedicated staff of volunteers shelter and care for many rescued cats. Since there is no outside funding for this shelter, we rely solely on your donations and of course our main goal is to find great pet owners for these cats that have fallen to neglect and lost their homes.

To meet the many requirements to sustain a shelter of this magnitude, we encourage donations. We accept cash, all forms of secured checks, money orders or you can simply donate online using PayPal here. This is a simple way to help without leaving your doorstep.
